The number two (on the piece of cardboard) is spelled incorrectly.

She meant the the incorrect spelling was "spelled", it should be "spelt". ;)

Those words are synonymous. The word spelt is ambiguous in that it is a type of plant or food. I know this because my mom was obsessed with health and she bought spelt flour (I think). That is why I used the alternate spelling.

But really, this is great [conversation]. To me, it is much better than discussing the picture above.

Never heard of "Spelt Flour" but all I know is when I used to put "spelled" in primary school, my teacher would dart across the room at the speed of sound and crack me across the back of the head. :P
