As to "the wanker squad", its you whose dictating the details of it as I mentioned none

So, carry on as you would people. :)

I don't have a local dialect. I guess it depends on who you hang out with! I don't use slang really so, meh, what would I know?!:P

But my Mum comes from Leicestershire and my Dad comes from London(in da ghetto LOL) and so I know quite a bit of the dialect from there:D

Not that it is at all relevant what-so-ever.........

Well, as to my Lancashire/Manchester area accent.. Here's an example.

There was a road called 'The Old Lane'.. Over time of people saying the same, it changed to 'T'old Lane' and now it's officially called 'Toad Lane'. That's how my accent changes things.

I guess if you've ever heard Peter Kay speak, that's how we talk round here. So instead of 'the' infront of nouns, we the 't''. So 'the others' becomes 't'others' etc etc.

Mamfy

Peter Kay is funny! It makes it funnier for me becuase it's in a different accent to what I'm used to!

T'hambulance or t'internet:P

Quite a lot of southerners don't understand me completely. I'm guessing it's the way I prenounce words. They kind of.. join together, which creates slang.

Mamfy
September 1st '05, 01:43 PM
Oh I would! I'm used to all the difference of pronounciation:D
