well, these forums have little to help you understand the world. The people in it however...its good to learn things here as no-ones really going to brag or exaggerate as much as in person. So you learn about other people here and what they hav as opinions. Some people (those who ask the questions) learn what they ask for! Like how to kiss or get a girlfriend!

Nobody can help you understand the world. Your understanding of the world is something you have to construct for yourself, because everybodies experiences are different.

Forums like these simply give teenagers the opportunity to share experiences, to ask the questions you wouldn't want to ask to your friends. It gives teenagers the chance to connect and meet new people, which is always a good thing.

The forums open up the opporunity to make friends all over the world and back. You learn about different cultures just from what people say, if your mind is open and you can piece together what people are saying. :)

But I think it is good to meet new people and talk to them because you get a feel for how other people see the world and how they feel in situations. Making it easier to face the world yourself:)

these types of fourm let you realise some of the problems people face in everyday life. It shows you how they get help and how they benefit from it, its fairly simple. such a simple thing ie the site can have such big consequences!

I wouldnt necessarily say it hlps us understand the world, but it helps get our opinions out among othrs since we arent old enough to vote or offer a debate to congress and crap..
