It seems like antidrug ads are all over the place now days. America is fighting a war on drugs, and according to President Bush, we're losing. Yes everyone, drug users across the world are winning the "War on Drugs", and they're doing it fucked up!
Marijuana is probably the most campaigned against drug in the entire United States. In spite of this, there is no record of any deaths caused directly by marijuana consumption.
-You can not overdose on Marijuana.
But it causes brain damage right?
-No. THC (the active mind altering compound in marijuana) does not kill brain cells. It merely bonds to molecules in your brain and stimulates them.
But its addictive?
-Will you develop a physical dependency like with nicotine? Hell no.
But is it habitually addictive? Sure, but so is everything enjoyable in life. (Sex, chocolate, etc.").
Dont wanna try it for yourself? No ones telling you how to live your life. But, dont knock it till you've tried it.

Cannabis doesn't actually have the same effects as any hard drugs.
The only stories you ever hear about drug abuse includes heroin, ecstacy, cocaine.
The thing with weed is, some people try it, and it's not enough, and it leads them on to trying harder and harder drugs. Then they get addicted. But not everyone.
it's up to the individual what they do obviously, but i wouldn't say no if someone offered me cannabis. I'd accept that over drink.

Cocaine isn't that bad either really.
It's the second most used drug and you'd be surprised the type of people who actually dabble in it. From successful businessmen to binmen. It can get addictive but if it's used moderately then it's relatively danger-free.

We reckon my boss is on cocaine.
Family man and all that as well.
But often, it's used to dabble in as a bit of a high when ecstacy and heroin aren't available, or just socially, stuff like that.

Trouble with cocaine is, you dont know how you're going to react to it the first time. An amount that someone might get a nice buzz off can be enough to hospitalize another.
As far as pot being a gateway drug, I disagree. Can it bring you into an environment where other drugs are present? Sure, if you're getting it from people that deal other forms of the trade, but it's ultimately your choice as to whether or not you experiment with anything else.

Exactly. You wouldn't be able to indentify a cocaine user as a wide range of people use it. Definitley a social drug.

What exactly did you see? Well, one guy he arrested was totally high, and I have to say he gave me the most efficient anti-drug speech I've ever had.
Basically said he started out smoking pot in HS, liked the feeling, kept doing it, ran himself out of cash constantly, then moved onto other things like meth and heroin, and I should mention he had both of those on him at the time. He was 22yr/o and he said his girlfriend was 42 and had alcohol problems. I actually got told by a frequent drug user _never_ to ever try any type of drug, even how harmless it seems, because it will make your life into a total hell.
Personally I have no desire to ruin my life in this way or affiliate myself with those who do. I know some people at school who do, and I used to socialize with them. I no longer do so, and most of the people I know stay away from them as well. Our community has a big drug problem in some places an it *really* cocks up people. What may seem like a little pot can force you into bigger things. I don't want to be one of those people that lives on the street, I actually aspire to fly for the air force one day. I don't want to ruin my future.
Not to mention my family would be totally pissed at me if I were caught, and my uncle was actually one of the undercover officers that busted some of the larger operations in northern cali.
IMHO the world would be so much better without drugs.
Edit: No, I am not a perfect kid either. I do have a bottle of beer every once in a while with friends, but I don't let that get out of control either, nor do I hang out with people who like to get totally wasted.

.
i don't think its fair to make statements like that when you've never smoked it. It doesen't 'force' you into anything. it can connect you with people who have access to harder drugs, but only you can make the decision to take them. its not like people hold you down and force to take a cap of e. its a person's choice, and a lot of people who start smoking pot and then end up on the street have a lot more going on then just they smoked a little pot and then BAM on the street.

And I love love. I love love all the time. Sometimes I love love with friends, at parties. I even love love at home the odd time. I could love some love right now matter fact.
Till the next time!

I dont like any kind of drug....why waste money of something that kills you?
I tried it once..tasted horrible, smells horrible and it didnt do anything for me.
It does do damage to you, later in life. Its been proven to make to go crazy later in life, why else would they make it illegal?

Exactly, everybody is fucked up lately with all the bad propaganda about weed. At the end of the day it's up to the person if they wanna take it, NOT the goverment.
Its been proven to make to go crazy later in life, why else would they make it illegal?
So does alcohol, so why haven't they made that illegal?
