so you know those scenarios that you alwyas get told about how 'as a young girl' its dangerous to travel at night alone. well - go fecking figure - the night my gran comes to stay the night, while heading home i get a flat. some people drive by and offer me help - i accept [ive already called my bro to ask him to come - hes 10 mins but has told me hell be there in half an hour] so i accept help and my tyre is changed and im on the road, but my mums heard whats happened and is speeding over to meet me and kick my ass. she does - literally when i finally meet up with her and FECK i hate this bullshaite. i mean i WOULDNT BE travelling alone late at night if my mum let me sleepover like whats organised most times. but noooo - she doesnt see it like that. she sees it as my being prioritsed around socialising... well sorry for wanting to go out after being sick for 2 + months and not seeing anyone. ARGH then she goes on her rant on how im being lazy and let oportunity pass me by because atm i dont have a job and am not at school... well mum - i lost my job after being sick for so long and im not at school because thatd be a waste of money and i would be joining mid unit. AAAAAARGH!!!!

Parents are always over-reactive about most things, particularly mothers. While I see where you're coming from, try not to be too annoyed at it. Your mum only has your best interests at heart and just wants the best for you.

Parents are so protective of me. It's girls, I have to tell you! They aren't as protective over my brothers, just me! Argh! What makes me so different to them? I can fend for myself! ANd I don;t need anyone telling me what I should be doing lol!

Yeah..sometimes they can get really annoying. Hmm..when I am about to tell my mum about my problems and aks her opinions about it. She tells me to shut up cause she is not in the mood.:(
