Different Names For Kissing

rite anno this is strange but in Scotland where i am from ,on a trip i went to this place and met sm ppl from Dundee (smwhere in scotland)and well any way i found out they use a frase called "Necking" which means to snog,kiss and so on so i was wondering what do u call it where ur from .
4 sm strange reason where im from it is called "getting" :confused: i really have no idea y
