Hair Styles

So, for the girls, how do you normally have your hair? Do you straighten it so it looks sleek and shiny, or do you curl it so it looks pretty and delicate, or do you let it go au natural so it looks different and personal?

And boys, do you gel it up spiky so it looks cool and stylish, or do you have it short so you don't have to do anything with it, or do you just leave it to look like the 'just got out of bed' look?:P(or, do you straighten it?:P)

It depends what I'm doing that day and how I feel. If I'm going out somewhere I'll normally straighten it and wear it down. I have it straightened for school sometimes too. If it's a hot day, or I don't have much time, I'll put it up in a scruffy bun and straighten my fringe and front bits so they're tidy and look neat. If It's just a normal day at home, I might just put a bit of blow drying cream on and dry it with the hairdryer, so it's still wavy but reasonably tidy. If it's really hot day and I can't be bothered drying it, I'll leave it wet. But when it dries, it's all in little ringlets, waves and a big mess of frizz :P

I put it up in a bobble occasionally, but not often, because I look weird with it up, and also, because the bottom layers and the longest, but thinnest.. So I lok like I have no hair at all :P

well...i tend to do nothing and leave it as it is after a shower, it always looks nice :)

It depends on my mood. if im in a lazy mood i just tie it in a bobble, maybe put a clip in it, and straighten my side fringe.
If im not feeling lazy i straighten it. Usually i put it half up and half down if i straighten it. Or i pur a wire head band thingy in it.
I curl it on special occasions.
Sometimes i will put it up in a clip, or in bunches.
If its a day when im not going anywhere, i will just leave it how it is when i get out of the shower.

Well, before I chopped it all off I'd straighten it most of the time. It took too long to curl.


Right now, I just kinda let it do it's own thing. I put a little gel in the back to make it curl a little, but other than that it's free to do it's own thing.

I have my hair sticking up and messy, i used to use Dax to stick my hair up, but it took forever to wash out, now i just use a ton of gel.
Although at the moment i need a hair cut, coz it looks awful when i stick it up because its 2 long!

Can anyone suggest a new hair style because i've been having it sticking up for ages and i fancy a change!

mines stuck up, spikey and messy, but i want it more tidy. It gets too thick and out of control if it gets long. I have a mohecan type spikey hair, where its spikey on top and a bit long at the back too. Im getting blonde in it soon :D i dunno if it will suit me though :S oh well you only live once lol

Mine is in short spikes, not because I want to look cool or trendy, but because it's easy to manage and doesn't need a lot of looking after.

I've got curly hair so I take showers every morning and spay Aussie hairspay in my hair to keep th friz down.I always hated having my hair up.My hair used to be down to my knees until i got it cut up to the middle of my back cause it got to hard to manage.

If im going out ill straighten it but i dont usually have enough time in the moringings to straighten it for school.
for school i usually just chuck it back & im not to worried bout what it looks like & only straighten my front bits.

I have like 3 different styles lol! I usually have my hair natural as it's naturally ringletty,. so I have it like that and just grip the sides, thats how I normally have it for school, or, if I plait it when it's wet and sleep on it, then I take it out the next morning, it looks wavy so I sometimes have it like that, or I can straighten it. I do this not as much anymore because it was bad for my hair, but if I'm going somewhere special then I will do it all.

So I can choose how I want to wear it when I want lol:)

I love it when women have their hair in short styles. In some ways, I think it's more of an effective, dramatic style to have it, rather than some long hair which just looks.. well, plain, I guess.

Obviously it's up to their own as to what style, but for my preferance, I'd say styled looks better than just long and plain.

I just let it down and curl it up abit. But most of the time, I prefer it to be natural. Sometimes It can be straight and sometimes it becomes wavy. I like my hair that way. Just sway it in the wind and you look brilliant!!:)

i just had mine cut and restyled.
I kept the length. But everything else has changed :D
Its now darkish brown.
Lots of layers.
And a side fringe.

Never has, not even superglue would hold it, even harder findin anythin to do with it. Stopped tryin years ago, jus leave it as it is now, try make sure its not stickin up everywhere, trim it shorter when it grows 2 long, bout all can do lol, never gunna get it to look good, least its less to bother with.

i either straighten it or curl it with mah curling shampoo and leave it to dry naturally, but thats onli when i can be bothered.. if i cant be bothered ill just straighten it so its not stuk up everywhere...

I had shoulder length blonde (natural) hair, dyed it red, shaved my head, bleached it, dyed it bright red, now its a couple of inches long and I spike it.
I had hair extensions, red and white. They looked so good, but a huge pain in the ass.
My little bro has bleach blonde hair with dreadlocks my mom did.

I have naturally straight hair, so attending school or just hanging out it's appropriate. However, when I go out to anything formal, or when I actually have time to do anything with my hair, I curl it. Straight is cute, but when it's curled it gives a little extra sparkle to it. :)

Mine is as I hate having the stereotype (for my hair) 'the emo bang' short and spiky at the back, and long and over to one side at the front, I use gel and wax mostly to get it to stay their.

Well, it depends, how i get my hair cut.
For the longest time, I didnt really care, I just brushed and went. Then i got into
my older years, & had a new style. I would straighten as much as i could, and part it on the side.
Now, Ive gotten bangs, again which I havent had in years. I have them to one side, and they have across my forehead, I think its cute. I usually leave it alone, like my style, Just brush and go, Sometimes ill strighten or scrunch, when im out of the shower, Depends how much time I have.

My hair right now is normally really curly but doesn't have much body to it. I have raven colored really thick hair.I plan to get it straighten during the summer, if my parents let me.I used this gel to make my hair have more body and its really shiny too

my hair has a mind of its own. i cant do anything to control it. gel, wax and hairspray has limited control over my hair.
in its natural state, its thick, wavy, tough and centre parted. before my haircut, on a hot day my bangs will automatically curl up and the rest of my hair poofs up like an afro. it does not look good trust me.
since then i've cut it uber short and gone with the spiky look, which usually lasts only 2 weeks after every haircut cuz the hair grows long and think really really quickly.
think i might just go ahead and straighten the bloody thing whn its long.
