It's nowt like rugby. Infact, the only similarities are the shape of the 'ball' and the 'net'.

not really, you have to be really fit to play football because you're running and tackling at full force, and it takes a lot of nerve too. I just find it un-interesting to watch.

I love watching it, but not as much as wrestling. But seriously...the people that say it's stupid, have you watched more than ONE full game?
Lindsay

Haha. I'm bumping this...
Too bad the Patriots got their asses handed to them by the Giants.
It was sickly satisfying watching Tom Brady get sacked time after time....:)

Two things.
It isn't football, thats our sport, you just copied our rugby. It's called American Football (for all those who called it football)
And isn't a football supposed to be round?
Nik Nak
February 11th '08, 06:29 PM
Tbh I thought all balls were round lol

February 11th '08, 06:42 PM

Nik Nak

to me the whole game seems to be one big advertising board

An old thread, but I'd rather bump this up than make a new one.
I love American football, been playing since 5th grade. I'm a HUGE San Diego Chargers fan (since 2000). They are actually visiting the UK to play against the New Orleans Saints in London this season- I want to visit the UK and get to watch them at the same time, that would be amazing.
