Dont get me wrong, i love converse trainers, but is it me or has everyone decided to buy a pair? They've been around for years and years but now its like the "fashion" to own a pair and its a tad annoying...:S

I have ankle high converse. Just coz i like them, not to be part of anything. "your stereotypical ankle high converse" What do you mean by that exactly. Did i say i had ankle high ones? no, im sorry but i never said anything about that. I do own them, but your obviously placing me into a stereotype.
And as for the standing out from the crowd thing:
Do you wear jeans or trousers or skirts of any kind?
Do you have hair?
Do you wear things from any type of high street shop?
Have you ever seen anyone wear anything similar to you?

Probably the answer to these is yes. In that case, you arent standing out from the crowd hun. if you really want to stand out, Id advise luminous a clown suit, orange and green hair in a very short style, and to make clothes yourself out of shower curtains.

But if you like things, you should just wear them. Not just buy things to be different. I like things that are individual, yes. but i wear things that i like anyway, i dont just not let myself buy things coz other people wear them, and i want to be different.
Im not arguing, im just getting my point across.

I know that, im just saying what i said because you got annoyed that people own a pair of converse coz its a bit fashionable. But im just saying its a free country for people to wear them, and it shouldnt really be annoying. I agree, its silly all these people wearing them, i bet most of the chavs dont even like them! but they have got popular because of them, and they are making a lot more different styles of them because of it, so its good for the people who do genuinely like the converse. Gives em more choice. Im sure the fad will die down soon enough.

It is hard to find things these days that were never trends. I lo9ve things from the 80's,but the only 80's that most kids my age have experienced were trends. Trends may get annoying at times,but they are important in understanding what the values of our culture are.

Everytime i read the new replys, it makes me laugh. If you read my first post in this thread you would of noticed that i said loved converse! I was mearly seeing if anyone agreed with me about people buying them. It seems that people didnt agree and decided to say im this and say im that.

Im not judging people, all im doing is expressing my views on different people which people do about me. Everyone feels differently and i obviously tell my views in different ways to you. You may say im a twat for doing so but thats your opinion. Im sure you've sat back and expessed your view on chav's but didnt care what you said, im just doing the same on another topic.
