Why most girls are mean?

Ok first i wanna clear that not all girls/women are the same.
So from my personal xp and some talk i had with some friends i came to a conclusion that most girls are mean when it comes to dating. And i dont mean rude, just mean.
Like when i asked a girl out and i got the most embarasing answer: "I cant come because i have to attend a new class that has to do with the enviroment". And the best part is that se doesnt ever care about enviroment. I would really apreciated if she told me sth like : "No i dont think that this is a good idea" or "I dont think we share the same feelings" or even "I am not in the mood of going out atm". Well i cant say that i look like Brad Pit or Orlado Bloom but wtf. Well thats not all but i think its enough to start a convarsation.

Well its not just that. What i wanna say is that being so "hard to get" is kinda anoying.

I have seen many girls become attracted to guys who [play hard to get. This may make them think that guys are attracted to the same thing and some are. Although I know how you feel I prefer it when a girl just gives me a straight up honest answer. Its really hard to tell how they feel when they make up things like that.
