Ok I know that this is gross but please help!

My grandma got a new hot tub not too long ago and me and my boyfriend get in it a bunch and I have heard that you can get yeast infections from hot tubs...well anyways long story short, I think I might have one and I am way too embarrassed to tell my mom...so what should I do? I wanna get it taken care of before it gets gross down there...so is there any home remedies that work? If not then what is the best over-the-counter thing to buy...please help girls! ---For those of you(boys especially) if reading this grossed you out I am sorry!

Canesten Duo will sort you out. Go to the pharmacy, it's not cheap, but it'll sort you out. If you cant afford, just buy the cream, But i;d recommend the duo, cos it's double the attack of the problem.

if you want you can go to the doctors and get it on prescription i suppose. im sure it'd come cheaper!

I always make sure I eat yogurt when i can to avoid these things.

How sure are you you would have a yeast infection though? If you have strange colored or smelling discharge you might. If it's chunky whitish or yellowish and has a strong yeast smell.. well that'd be a given.

I would strongly suggest that you go to see a doctor, you could be fine, you could have a yeast infection, or it could be something worse. If you don't want to see your family GP you could ask to see another doctor, you can specify if you want a female doctor, or even enlist at a different Surgery. You could try your local GUM clinic if you want completely confidential treatment that will not be included in your medical records.
