So yeah, every Tuesday half 9 until 3 I am volunteering at a *surestart* Creche
Should be kool, i've had to have one of those police checks *eep*
Has anyone else done a lot of volunteer work?

I volunteer my weekends at an animal shelter. No police check done on me though hehe

I did volunteering in a shop for a while. It was better than you might think. You get to meet the strangest people, I also made a few friends for life. I learnt quite a lot as well.
I want to do volunteering again a couple of days a week, in a different section, but I'm not sure what I'd like to do yet.

Do you ever get bullied when your there Kaye, because I know the bigger kids tend to bully the smaller ones

I done coaching youths, disabled people, kids with behaviour problems (chavs basically). And I've helped out at Disabled events, swimming and athletics and stuff.

Volunteer work looks amazing on a resume. Do AS MUCH as you can in high school. Because once you get to University, there is absolutely NO TIME to volunteer. Although, I have found 4 hours a week to volunteer as a big brother for a kid who doesn't have a father in his life.

I've done some volunteer work at a pet store where I've gotten some of my pets. I also help out at my mom's work whenever I can.
