Americans - good new music?

I need some music from America because it would be cool to trade the up and coming talent from both countries.

What I don't want are bands that sound like : MCR, Greenday, Sum41 etc etc

Anyway heres some British talent:

There are lots of decent American bands like All That Remains, A Perfect Circle, Breaking Benjamin , Disturbed, Dream Theater, Killswitch Engage, Symphony X , Tool and a lot more.

Most bands in my playlist are English bands though.

Ive heard of disturbed, thats about it from that list.
