No commitment, no relationship, no dates, no spending, so ya miss out on all the complications and effort it takes to be with someone, but the benefit is that ya both meet and regulary do all the sexual stuff that people in a relationship would do, while not actually being commited.

Not a fan of it myself and I wouldn't advise it to anyone but if all ya want to let someone have with ya is sex then go for it, if not then don't.

If you really want to be friends with benefits, and go behind your parents' backs, then it's your decision.

Do you want to be more than friends with benefits? If so, that would complicate things because 1) your parents are making a huge deal out of it and 2) he doesn't seem to want a relationship.

If you just want a makeout/sex partner, I'd still say forget about him. There are other guys out there.

I think it would be good to talk with your parents too. They obviously have some sort of problem. Is it with your dating (if you want to call it that) or this one guy in particular? Have you had this problem with your parents before?
