Is it shallow to think like this?:

I wouldnt go out with anybody younger than me or smaller than me.

Is that shallow? Shallowness can be described as being effected by the physical side of others. So technically, not going out with anyone younger and smaller than myself is shallow, isnt it?

Also, is there anything you have to have physically in a partner?

I think in a sense it does make you shallow because your obviously worried of what your gonna look like with this person.

But if you meet the greatest person on this earth & his either younger or shorter than you, are you really going to be like 'well i CANT be with him cos he is younger or smaller than me, even tho he is the greatest person in the world'.

I don't look for any physical things in a partner. As long as they are a good person who treats me well and respects me that's all that really matters.

I know a lot of girls who say they wouldn't go out with a guy who is younger than they are. I dont think it's because they're worried about how they would look being with that person, but because they dont think that they would feel comfortable with a guy who was younger and less experenced than they are.

I believe though, that if you meet someone who you really like, it won't matter at all what they look like or how old they are, because you'll like them for who they are. It's all a matter of personal opinion, and no, I don't think it makes you shallow.

It's not shallow, it's natural. I'd feel weird if I had to bend down to kiss my boyfriend. The younger thing dosen't really bug me to a certain extent.

I don't think it would bug you about the guy being younger than you when you get older, but it's a bit awkward at this age I suppose.

And I haven't been with a guy who is shorter than me, purely because that would be very difficult seeing as I am a short ass

Most of the girls I know have a set of criteria for all possible bfs. Any guy they meet has to be this and that and the other. I thing to some extent there's nothing wrong with it, but you have to be flexiable. You can't write someone off just because they're shorter than you, or they don't have a car, or go to a certain school. If you like someone, you like them. Regardless of whether or not they fit your criteria.

well, you knwo, the fact that you wouldnt want anyone smaller than you is somethin most girls want just the fact that you want a beefier man, doesnt mean your shallow at heart.. saying that you might not date a guy smaller is more of an open minded way of saying it the way you put it, you might have a difficult time finding the perfect person, nomatter who they are they will either be younger or older by atleast a few months or days heck even years...
