R.I.P Georgy Best. True footballing legend, to do such skill on such shit pitches, truley amazing. I'd have loved to see him play in this day n age.

RIP.... but I knew it was gonna happen soon enough, and i dont really have any sympathy for him, but for his family and friends and i feel that its a waste of talent in many ways.
Apparently, he drunk 10 bottles of wine a day and when he was on tv he used to take wine in a lucozade bottle.

    Rip george best

But to be honest, he brought it on himself. Harsh thing to say really. It's a shame alcohol can change a person so much, especially when they have so much potential. Sympathy to the family xx

Bit harsh, the man was an alcoholic, I mean if some1 died of lung cancer cos they smoked you wouldnt say, well I dont have any sympathy for him. He was the 60s personified, with the era, the sudden rise to fame and the seemingly unlimited funds he had at his disposal its not really that big of a shock that he became an alcoholic. He tried to stop, but like many alcoholics he couldnt do it. He Brought a smile to alot of people's faces, made a lot of rivals fans clap his play, i.e liverpool, man city n leeds. You can't argue with that. Forget his 10 bottles a day and wild party's he did great things on a football picth lets remember him for that.

Yeah I guess it was a bit harsh...
Its hard to explain though, but to be honest, I dont have any sympathy for the George that was taken over by alcohol, but I have sympathy for the person that was actually lost coz of the alcohol, and the person that couldnt control the alcohol...ism.
Its a bit like having a change of personality, like schitzophrenia, but having the old person underneath.
