    Default Snowboarding

I did 3 days snowboarding in france in feb I taught myself the basics. It is such a rush especially when your turning in powder snow its like your floating. Its so much better than skiing.

    Anyone else snowboard?

I love snowboarding too! i'm goofy footed too lol but i prefer duck stance, so i can board switch. If you havent tried it you just have to, you will hurt yourself alot at first but once you get the basics, you don't get hurt much more, keep at it though, don't give up! You get the best feeling ever on a big air or at the top of a mountain, you just can't beat it.

I snowboard a fair bit in Austria - two or three times a year - but even as a seasoned rider, nothing quite beats trick skiis. The look on some peoples faces as you fly past them backwards, popping off little 360s every so often is priceless - but when you take it to a half pipe.. well.. you need to be a little bit creative, y'know?

Try doing a pole plant. Surprisingly easy when you find your center of balance. You can throw a little rotation into it on the come down, too.

Snowboarding is awesome. The first time I went, I fell probably hundreds of times and ended up not being able to move for four days after :s

It took me a while to get going but then all the sudden I just took off. Everytime I go I improve just a little bit more. I recently bought my own board, boots, and bindings, and I can't wait for next season.

I'd love to learn to ski too.
