Y12 at my school have been going to these 'masterclasses' - they're like taster lessons for what uni's like, i did an IT one at Sheffield Hallam, it was about Audio and Video compression, quite interesting, learned a couple of things, but not loads, it was ok. i enjoyed it, but was slightly patronising (click this...click this...do that...) but i suppose real uni will be a lot better! :naughty:

anyone else had similar taster sessions? what did you think?
