So I'm considering, this summer, upgrading the Forums to the latest stable release of vBulletin.
A features list can be found here:

I'll be going with the Publishing Suite so we can get some Article and Blog action thrown in with the mix.

It'll mean that the Forums will be down for a few days, but don't worry, I'll provide somewhere else to chat in that time.
It may also mean that, even though I can restore the arcade and all it's games, all high scores will be lost.
A few other things may also be lost, such as currently existing groups etc. (though most of you don't use them anyway) but they will be replaced with much better integrated groups, with results showing up in the Forum Search etc.

It'll just be much better on the whole.

I just wanted to make sure people don't mind losing Arcade scores etc.

The Forums themselves will retain all their posts, people should still have their avatars, sigs and whatnot, so none of that changes.

It's $250 of my own money I'll be investing right now but if anybody wants to make a donation, drop me a PM. I'll make sure you get mentioned, this summer, when the new site goes live.

So yeah, feedback? opinions?
