Classic Rock Bands

I am probally the only one of my friends that is into Classic Rock. My parents were huge hippies and I kind of like the hippie thing too. Is anyone else a band of the older rock artists?

I wouldn't exactly call myself a hippy, but I like a lot of the old rock bands. Genesis, Nasum etc.

I wouldn't exactly say that liking classic rock makes you a hippy. I enjoy it and as you probably know I am not exactly a hippy.

I'm more of a fan of the Rolling Stones when it comes to classic rock.

I love aerosmith too.
I didnt mind sweet child of mine by the guns and roses, but i hate it now coz it always pops on after every song on my playlist and i dont know why. And guns and roses always seem to follow me whenever i go out. every time im in a music store, i either see the cd, or the poster, a dvd, or something by them. Even when im not looking in the right area to find those things. If i dont go to a music store, they start playing in a shop or something. it drives me mental

Edit: I like the ramones too. Theyr great. And one of the guys has amazing cheekbones.

I know what you mean about guns and roses, if your browsing the music channels, especially on Kerrang, guns and roses is always on! and its almost always Sweet child of mine or November rain! i mean they're good songs, but hearing other songs wouldn't hurt!

But November rain video kicks ass, slash in a desert type area soloing, just pure coolness lol, yeah Guns n Roses rock, Metallica's old stuff is great aswell as new stuff
