    Default Modifying Winamp

    (Not coding per say, but listed here because it involves editing of code).

    Now, I'm not sure how many of you use Winamp. Personally, I hate it, and thus don't use it. But given how popular it is, I assume most of you have it installed at the very least. And I imagine most of you use http://youtube.com/. I'm sure some of you use Pandora as well. Wouldn't you like to be able to play both Youtube and Pandora from your Winamp player?

    If so, do the following:

    In Notepad open the file C:\Program Files\Winamp\Plugins\ml\ml_online.ini

    Code:
    Replace this line

    ElementID10=-1

    with

    ElementID10=7000
    ElementIcon10=11003
    ElementSubbed10=1
    ElementName10=Pandora
    ElementURL10=http://www.pandora.com?cmd=mini
    ElementID11=-1
    Then:

    While C:\Program Files\Winamp\ Plugins\ml\ml_online.ini is still open:

    Add (to the bottom of the file):

    Code:
    ElementId11=8000
    ElementIcon11=11002
    ElementSubbed11=1
    ElementName11=Youtube
    ElementURL11=http://youtube.com/?cmd=mini
    You should also remove this line: ElementID10=-1, save the file, and restart Winamp.

    Of course to do these, you'll need the latest version of Winamp. (Not tested with Winamp Pro.)

    I don't have it. I use Media Player Classic for everything Visual.
