Deer Hunter is a Vietnam film made shortly before Apocalypse Now about three friends who go to Vietnam. Bridge Over the River Kwai is a classic war film about British P.O.Ws being forced to build a bridge for the Japanese only to discover that it is scheduled be destroyed by a team of commandos.
