myth - all greasy foods are unhealthy!
if by "greasy" we're talking fatty, then there are plenty of fatty foods which are actually good for us!
now, the typical greasy foods like chips, burgers and pizzas are a total "clog your arteries up" wish, but foods rich in triglycerides (that means fatty acids), omega-3 and omega-6 oils are ESSENTIAL for you in moderation!
good examples are oily fish (kippers, salmon, tuna...), nuts (not roasted or salted!), olive oil (which you can drizzle on loads of foods - yummy!!); and omega-3 free range eggs.
don't overdo them, but they will do your circulatory system a treat if included in your regular diet!!
...but then, chips are tasty!!

Theres no such thing as junk food ya know.
Its just that people enjoy junkfood more than vegetables and stuff, and eat too much of it.
If you try to have a balanced diet, "junk food" is actually good for you!
Junk food doesnt exist, but a junk diet does. If you eat too much of one thing and dont eat enough of the rest, then you get ill and unhealthy.
People eat too much fat and greasy food coz fat makes the natural taste of food taste better. Salty and sugary foods make your body want more, and some people eat too much of it.
But if it was opposite, and people ate too many vegetables, then they would be considered junk food and jamie oliver would be serving burgers and chips and fatty meals up in school cafeterias rather than his recent promotion in serving veg to schools.
You need a certain amount of fat, sugar and salt in your daily diet. Some people get enough of this, others dont get enough because they think its bad for them.
same with calories. to be completely healthy, there is a certain amount of calories we need to have in a day...i think its 2000 for women..i dont know.
But people think calories are bad for them and dont eat them.

Just put plenty of vinegar on greasy foods to help your stomach enzymes digest the fatty acids and so it all goes through you instead of to your heart!
