i am australian because:

• i eat meat pies
• drink beer [not piss weak yanky 'beer' - im talking good old tooheys new/old, hahn, heiniken, kozel, redback and tonnes more]
• drink beer when eating pie
• watch rugby
• eat meat pies while drinking beer at rugby matches [no joke - ive done this a fair few times]
• i hate steve irwin
• i have kangaroos on my property
• im not really that surprised when i hit a roo with my car anymore these days - although annoyed because i have to repair the damage

i think this is proof enough that im aussie. but im also of strong ukrainian lineage [as is petey] so i have many eastern european cultural oddities and influences - thus the heavy drinking and the odd fetish for occassional polka music
