2006
Can we win it? With our dismall performances recently it doesnt look likely but we have a great team with tremendous quality. In my Opinion we have the best team in the world on paper. Sven doesnt look the best manager in the world but I dont think we can get any1 better so I would still stick with him. Il say we defiantly CAN win the world....but CAN is a huge word. If we dont get to the semi's Sven gas got to leave we have a great squad and should be taking advantage of that. This could be the greastest England team in ages, and we really have to take this opptunity by the neck and sease it. Your opinions?

Re: 2006
I don't think we have the best team but one of the best.
Anyway I'm really not sure about England winning the cup, if they keep preforming like the previous matches...we should give up, but then again every team has their bad moments. If England play good w000t we have a very good chance of winning.

Re: 2006
Ashley Cole said that its better to play bad now than in the world cup. But he seems to have the attitude that most of the England team has, which is that we'v already qualified!! We'v still got some tough games to go. However im sure we will qualify. Its just The performances against denmark and N.Ireland was quite simply just jokes. If we play like that in the world cup theres no chance we will get through the group stage. With a little bit of luck in the competiton we could go far. But when was the last time England and Luck was in the same sentence!

Re: 2006
Yeah lol ...and Ashley cole man do I hate him.
But why play bad at all? Just need a good formation with all the players in the right places.

Re: 2006
Lol, yer he's a little diving twat. Its a good point, just because were not in the world cup doesnt mean we should'nt play well. Losing to N.Ireland has to be one of the most embarresind defeats in our history. The formation thing seems to be a bit wild to me. I think it all based around beckham not wanting to play right midfield. The team seems slightly obvious to me.
GK Robinson
DR Neville
DL Cole
DC Terry (c)
DC Ferdinand
ML Wright-Phillips
MR Beckham
MC Gerrard
MC Lampard
SC Rooney
SC Owen
I feel thats a team capable of beating any1. Maybe wright-phillips wont like it on left but i think he's more than capable of playing there.

Re: 2006
Yeah and why was Beckham playing in the centre? I think that was Svens moment of madness.
Though we have a good team, we have a big pile of fucking bad luck.
Remember Euro 2004 DAMN I wanted to KILL that referee.
But anyway we have some young better players now and yeah we have a good chance if they all play well ¬.¬

Re: 2006
yer like I said with the right luck we can go the hole way. Just cant see us having good luck really. It could be our year but playing the we have been it could jus be a big embarresment.

Re: 2006
Yeah Luke take some pics please !!! Never been to a proper England senior match before !!!
We won't win it under Sven. The only time we will win it again is if we have a good English chap as manager.

Re: 2006
Sam Allardyce would be class after what hes done for Bolton. Hes got some decent youths too so this may benefit the country as a whole.

Re: 2006
Yeah Big Sam would be a very good manager for the national team. Since Wayne Rooney is banned for the austria match who would you put up front

Re: 2006
Thats a ridicouls comment! Mourinho's not english, he would be the best possible man to have in charge. I dont see why everybodys bothed bout having a english manager, if he's good thats all that matters. Who could we have in charge thats English? Mclaren? over-rated, Allardyce and Curbishly? quite good but theres better foreign managers that would take over England. If Allardyce was manager he'd play long ball, Heskey n Les Ferdinand up front, Davies on the bench. Dear me, Im sorry but some of the stuff ur sayin!! jesus!
