Illegal Immigrants

What's everybody's views on Illegal Immigrants? Personally I think it's got to the stage where we should just say 'fuck it' & transfer them out of the country. This may sound radical, but housing a illegal immigrant for the night costs £2,000 when they come into this country now multiple by the 500,000 that came into this country last year & that's a hell of alot of money. And the Govt doesn't help, I mean our rules on immigration are so loose it's a bloody joke. Once a application fails it takes 2yrs for there Visa app to be heard again & by then they've fucked off & started calling themselves Steve Jones. It's a joke & it ain't funny anymore....get your arse into gear Labour!

Alot of them jump the fence then scramble up to Colorado because no one bothers to check on them. I'm not complaining, though. They all work and not many are living off social security...yeah...a few are, but meh. They do all the dirty jobs for cheap.

Fucking hell, it's loads different here. They get paid shit loads for NOT working. Plus get money for food, clothing etc etc.

It's bollocks. People who are unemployed and are legally a British Citizen only get something like £42.

I'm not sure where I stand on that issue. Sure some of them may have had a terrible life where they came from and they really shouldn't expect to find it much better over here. At least they probably had SOMETHING back there while here they most likely have to start over.

Then again they are willing to work hard and I have heard stories of illegal immigrants at least making a halfway decent life.

The illeagal ones should be sent back tbh, im sure theyd be less forgiving if we broke the law in their countries.

Hell goverment departments like the one im workin at havent even got good computer systems, the whole lot was down today. Which means the staff cant work efficiently cause the governments so tight, probs cause theyre spendin too much money elsewhere lol.

I can't say about them. But lets think, why would they want to come to another country? Because they want to have a better life in another country. Maybe in their own country, they do not have much opportunities to have a good life. And they do it illegally, cause they cannot afford air tickets. So I can't say all of them are bad.

I think it's really stupid how the government don't do anything about illegal immigrants. The money to keep them here could be used for more useful things for people in the country or whatever, and it's also coming from our working citizens tax. We're paying to keep them here, when it's illegal in the damn first place. They might be fleeing 'bad' home life or whatever, but they're here illegally, and I'm sure if we bombarded their country they'd have something to say about it - and their government wouldn't be so damn leniant on us either. They'd take action, not leave us to spread through the country, claiming benefits and living the life of luxuary.

If they work for their living, then so be it, they're earning their right to stay here, but if they're just lounging around all day, buying fancy clothes, living a life of free housing and money.. Then why the hell should we work? They're not legal British citizens, so why should we go to work and earn money to buy nice clothes and houses and cars? It's rediculous.

Often times that would make them a refugee,but they are usually transported by the Red Cross or something like that.

Sometimes thoguh a country won't take them in for fear of involvment in the war (Ex:Cambodia)

And the reason why there's no 'oppurtunites' in all these countries/communities? Because all of the citizens are jumping ship & getting nice retirement packets here & in other European countries. We should do a France & take a hard line approach with them. Shut down the 'holding' centre's & just send them back to where they came from.

essex owl i think your opinion is very strong towards this particular topic, but as its your opinion i cant argue it. what i can say is this, immagrants escape from there country and try and seek a better life, some countries such as England offer a great chance for them to restart. I personally think that if there living in such bad conditions then its everyones duty to help them. No one should live in horrid conditions where they cant even leave there own country. what does everyone else thing, thats my opinion!

Well, its meant to be illegal immigrants, hehe.
I think its ok when they come into the country just for salvation, but when they come into the country just because they want to live in the country, its not good. And its not good for any type of immigrant if they just come into the country, whether its for salvation or any other reason, and our tax goes on keeping them alive. Like everyone else, they should work to get a living. If they dont speak our language, they should do something about that. Theres not much point in coming here and not understanding a fecking word. And if they just cant work coz of disabilities, then that acceptable. But if they just cant be arsed doing something, and they can live off our money anyway. Do-gooders think that them having a bad life before they came into this country is an acceptable excuse not to work. But if you can work, you should work. Living off the countries hard earned money is NOT acceptable. We arent just here to keep them alive. We dont work to keep them in fancy clothes and fancy houses and eating fancy foods and sitting on their arses all day, i mean, we cant afford to do that.
People who do nothing with their lives seem to get more than people who do at times. And they get all the sympathy of everyone else. They come into this country, but arent meant to. So if they choose to break our laws, then they should look after themselves.
