has anyone seen these programs?

Yeah, i loved the three series they put out. The Stageshows were better though, they finally stopped working with each other earlier this year but they're both talented actors.
If you haven't seen it already, check out The Young Ones. It includes both Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson in their teens. It was like, the prequel to Bottom, i guess you could say.

those two are perfect together.
the stage shows were cool, seeing all the screw-ups lol

The Young Ones and Bottom were what I grew up with, and love them.

It's stupid humour, and even though it's not my preferred humour these days, I still find these programmes damn funny!

all their fighting bits are dead funny
one of the stage shows they did, they were fighting and Richie actually got accidently hit on the nose lol

They have a movie out too which is pretty umm...interesting.
Rik Mayall wrote a fourth and final series for Bottom only recently, but the BBC rejected it. He said it was the best series that they'd written too. Shame. :\
